The Gospel of God's Grace

However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me- the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace. – Paul [Acts 20:24 NIV84]

Paul was given a task by Jesus Christ! This task was to complete the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace! How would you describe the word gospel?  How would you describe the word grace?

Gospel – Good News

Grace – Goodwill, loving kindness, unmerited favor.

Paul was given the ministry to proclaim the good news of Gods unmerited favor.  1)That God has provided a way of salvation for the sinner. 2) That God has done this on the basis of grace without requiring merit on the part of sinners.

This study is designed to help us see 1) our need for grace, 2) the provision that God makes to gain access to grace and 3)the receiving of grace.

Galatians 1:8-9

  • There are many gospels out there (perverted gospels, false teachings)
  •  Matthew 7:13-14 Enter through the Narrow Gate.
