Personal Bible Studies - "Build My Church" 

How do you become a member of our church family? Christ does the adding and builds our family! However, typically we invite you into a personal bible study which are designed to be evangelistic in nature.  In Matthew 16:18 Jesus says to Peter, "I will build my church," therfore we have titled our evangelistic bible studies "Build My Church" inspired by Jesus building his church as we are only ambassadors for Christ (Matthew 16:13-19, 2 Corinthians 5:20).  The goal is to listen to a person's story who is seeking after God, help them see how God's story intersects their story and bring them to a point of salvation. We do this through our "Build My Church" Evangelistic Bible Studies: 

1) The Story- listening to one another's story and introducing the story of God,

2) The Word- next we help the seeker hear the Word of the Heavenly Father,

3) The Way-  after that we help the seeker hear from Jesus Christ to understand the way of Christ and his call on our lives,

4) The Gospel- next we share the good news of the gospel message and inspire them to believe it through experiencing the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross,

5) The Conviction- after that we take time to get deep, real and vulnerable as the Holy Spirit brings about the conviction that helps the seeker repent of personal sinfulness in view of the cross,

6) The Response- here we share the faithful response of a person that has had a mind change which moves the seeker to confess Jesus as Lord and Savior and being buried with him through baptism,

7) The Family- and lastly we helping the seeker know what it means to be added to the church family of God and what its going to take to remain faithful to eternity.  

*In general, this is our base evangelistic study however the person helping a seeker will need to use the whole counsel of the Word as needed.
